Terms and Conditions

Booking and Confirmation

The booking shall be treated as confirmed when the full payment in advance has been provided. When making a booking, your name, address, email address, arrival- and departure time as well as method of payment are required.

A room reservation is binding once it has been confirmed verbally or in writing and you have received a reservation confirmation.

Guaranteed Reservation

Reservations require a 50% prepayment at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to arrival.

Credit card guarantee is required for all bookings when confirming the reservation. To guarantee the reservation the hotel will need the following information: your name, credit card number, credit card expiry date, credit card CVC/CVV code, address, phone number and email address.

Credit card used for guaranteeing the stay may also be used for charging any incurred costs related to cancelled or no-show reservations.

Cancellation and No Arrival

The deposit is only refundable if the reservation is cancelled more than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.

Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to your confirmed arrival date will result in a 50% refund of the total booking amount. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival will lead to 100% forfeiture of payment.

Early Departure forfeits remaining balance and will be retained by Coastal Serena.

Coastal Serena may cancel a reservation. In the event of such cancellation, the guest shall be informed immediately and shall be offered a full refund of any and all sums paid.

Limitation of Liability

Coastal Serena and its hosts exclude any liability exclusively.

For accidents in the terrain and in the accommodations we disclaim any liability. The guests are not insured by us.

Coastal Serena encourages clients to purchase a travel insurance to cover emergencies resulting in cancellations after the final payment has been made.

Coastal Serena's liability for any loss or damage suffered by guests shall be limited to that which arises out of the negligence of the Hotel's employees, subcontractors or agents.

Arrival and Departure

The studio apartement is at your disposal from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival. On your departure day the room must be vacated by 11:30 am. Early Check-in or Late Check-out might be discussed with the team of Coastal Serena in advance and is subject to availability.

You can store your luggage before check-in or after checkout.

For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private premises and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed.

Guest Behaviour at Coastal Serena

We follow good manners and rules at Coastal Serena. In case of breaking these rules you may be immediately removed from the premises. In such cases you are still obliged to pay for the accommodation and additional services ordered. You are not eligible to claim a refund for payments already made.

As a guest you are responsible for damage caused on purpose or by accident by you. This applies to furniture and other equipment. The responsibility for caused damage is determined by general principles.

In case of extraordinary soiling of the accommodation or its infrastructure, an additional cleaning fee of USD 50 to USD 250 is to be paid. Should the accommodation not be usable the next day due to contamination or damage, compensation may be required.

No Smoking

Coastal Serena is a smoke-free place, Guests are not permitted to smoke in rooms or public areas. Coastal Serena is entitled to collect fine for smoking in rooms or public areas

Pets

Pets are not allowed at Coastal Serena.



Force Majeure

Coastal Serena accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures

What do we use your data for?

log-data: We only use the log data to get an overview of your user behavior. They help us to see how often and on which days our site is visited most frequently. In this way, we can gain insights into which content is of interest to you and react accordingly.

cookies: Cookies are only used to make our offer more user-friendly and effective for you.

personal data: We request the data that you send us via the contact or booking form so that we can prepare your stay, contact you with questions or to respond to your request. There is no further use. Of course, we do not pass this data on to third parties without your consent; exceptions are credit card data, which we transmit to the bank(s)/the payment provider involved in order to enable them to debit your purchase. Objection to advertising mails
