During your stay at Coastal Serena, we will demonstrate how to integrate healthy life strategies into your existing daily routines. Allow us to collaborate with you in your wellness journey as you enhance your personal well-being.

No matter if you just want to come to relax in a place that caters to your unique dietary preferences without worry, or if you want to learn more about healthy food preparation, you are at the right place here at Coastal Serena.

However, if you have been diagnosed with chronic autoimmune disease, let us demonstrate lifestyle changes that may alleviate some of the symptoms of your diagnosis with alternative measures like low inflammatory diets, mindfulness, beginner level breath work, meditation, and light exercise routines.

Our healthy Meals

All our meals and drinks are prepared by using conventionally grown produce, Angus beef, and wild caught fish

Our juices are prepared with a cold press juice extractor preserving high-level of vitamins

Generally, our meals are plant-based and dairy free, but can include fresh fish, free-range eggs, and lean meats if desired.

We follow an intermittent fasting plan

A typical day at the Retreat

7:30am

Hydrate with a glass of fresh squeezed lemon water

8:00am

Join us on the veranda or the beach for breathwork and light stretching

8:30am

Fresh Pressed Vegetable Juice Therapy hourly from this point forward

10:00am

Breakfast to include a variety of Fresh Fruits and nuts

11:30am

Instructional demonstration to include the preparation of plant-based milks, salads and salad dressings, etc. Feel free to learn from our experienced Chef and ask about the meal of the day

12:30pm

Lunch is served

1:30pm

After lunch we invite everyone to engage in light exercise such as a meditative walk

2:30pm

The time is yours. We encourage you to look over educational resources on site, as well to enjoy the pool, the grounds, or visit the nearby beach Playa Najayo.

06:00pm

Dinner of fresh fruit will be served, alongside a coconut milk tumeric ginger tea.

07:00pm

After dinner, we invite everyone for a meditation session.

Each day will be different and will be adjusted to the individual client's needs. This is just an example of what a day might look like and give you a better understanding what to expect.

We want to emphasize that we are ordinary people that have been managing our autoimmune diagnosis through self-education and a lifestyle that includes a diet low in inflammatory foods, exercise, and mindfulness. We are not medical professionals. We are not nutritionists.

Our Packages


1-DAY Meal Preparation

Guests arrive by 10AM for a half-day event where they actively participate in the preparation of plant-based milks, fresh pressed vegetable juices, and basic salad dressings.Each participant will receive an educational packet filled with recipes and additional resources as well as a nut-milk bag that they can use to make their own plant-based milk at home. Light snacks, refreshments and a plant-based lunch will be served. Guests are welcome to stay and lounge by the pool after lunch and depart by 6pm. $100/per guest


3-DAY Mini Retreat

This is ideal for guests looking to begin making changes in their lives to include a new mindset and approach to wellness. This package includes lodging, all meals and refreshments, meal-prep instruction, and demonstrations, as well as transportation to and from Santo Domingo. Guests are given the opportunity to participate in intermittent fasting individualized meal plan that includes juicing therapy, preparation of low inflammatory meals,beginner level breathing exercises, beginner level stretching exercises, mindfulness and meditation Price $250/per night per guest


5-DAY Full Retreat

Our full retreat allows guest to experience everything that is offered in the three-day mini retreat with a more in-depth approach that gives guests the opportunity to participate in additional meal preparations and instruction. This Retreat package affords you a couple of extra days to relax and rest and possible schedule one or more of our optional services for an additional fee. Price $250/per night per guest
